Obituary for Mary Jo Starkey (Hunt)

Mary Jo Hunt Starkey, 88, of Greenville, SC, formerly of Elkview, WV passed away Sunday, June 4, 2017. Mary Jo was the daughter of the late Joseph Henry and Eleanor Hossley Clark. She was passionate about life, loved her family, loved to dance, and work in her flower garden.

Mary Jo is survived by her children Sherry Hunt and Gale Long (Edward) both of Elkview, WV; Dale Hunt(Joanne) of Greenville, SC; Douglas Hunt (Victoria) of Myrtle Beach, SC and Judy Gerwig (Larry) of Charleston, WV; 12 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Richard Clark, of Greenville, SC.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.

The family wishes to express their appreciation to SC Hospice and Palliative Care. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Hospice Promise Foundation, Greenville, SC office, SC Hospice and Palliative Care, 655 N. Academy Street, Greenville, SC 29601.
