Nell Jean Stricker, 86, of Quick went to be with the Lord on Saturday, Nov. 12, 2016 at CAMC Memorial Hospital, Charleston.
She retired from the State of WV and was a member of St. Andrew Presbyterian Church, Pinch. Nell was a former member of the Quick United Methodist Church, had a love for flowers, quilting and was a very good cook.
Nell was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister; who will be missed by all who knew her. She is preceded in death by her parents, Romie and Garnett Coleman Hughart; brother, Harold Hughart.
Surviving is her loving husband of 65 years, Harry Stricker; son, Daniel (Sue) Stricker; Alice (Pete) Bengeyfield; sister, Carol Ann (Ray) Nifong; four grandchildren; seven great grandchildren. And a host friends and loved ones who are going to miss her.
Service will be 11:00 am Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2016 at the Hafer Funeral Home with Pastor Cherrie Sizemore officiating. Burial will be in Elk Hills Memorial Park, Big Chimney.
Visitation will be 6-8 pm Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2016 at the funeral home.
