Louise Hughes
Louise Hughes, 81, of Charleston went home to be with the Lord, on Sunday, Sept. 11, 2016 at Hubbard Hospice House, Charleston.
She was a member of Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church, Elkview and enjoyed spending time with her family camping, cooking, sewing painting and target shooting.
Surviving is her loving husband of 67 years, Harold "Buck" Hughes; children, Barbara (Jerry) Bondurant of South Charleston, Danny Ray Hughes of Denver, Colorado, Rick (Jeannie) Hughes of Cross Lanes, Kathy (David) Nida of Ripley; grandchildren, Matt Schoolcraft of Wilmington, NC, Leslie Barr and Ashlie Ryan of Cincinnati, Ohio, Jessica (Marky) Ford of Winfield, Angela Nida of California; great grandchildren, Austin Cox and Mark Ford.
A private graveside service will be held at Elk Memorial Park, Big Chimney with Pastor Danny Kinder officiating; with burial immediately following in the cemetery.
Public visitation will be 6-8 pm Thursday, Sept. 15, 2016 at Hafer Funeral Home, Elkview.
