Anita Faye Blancet

Anita Faye Blancet, 56, of Elkview went home to be with the Lord on Friday, April 1, 2016 at Hubbard Hospice House, Charleston.

She was a very loving mother and grandmother. She was a caring and selfless person, always putting her family and others before herself. She worked as a in-home care giver and enjoyed her houseplants. She is preceded in death by her parents Dennis and Reba Blancet; son, Chris Blancet; sister, Denise Blancet; and special aunt, Ruthanne Myers.

Surviving is her daughter, Carrie Shamblin and Ricky Myers; son, Dustin and special daughter in law, Kaitlyn Blancet; grandchildren, Zachary and Khloe Blancet, Kristin and Amiee Tanner, Harley Myers, Rebecca Flinner, and Lance Bryant.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to "all" those who has helped us in our time of need and to the tender care from Beth Dawson and Hubbard Hospice care.

Memorial service will be Saturday, April 9, 2016 at Three Mile Wesleyn Church, at 817 Three mile road, Elkview, with Pastor Billy Burdette officiating.
