Obituary for Marie Wheatley (Ashby)

Marie Wheatley, 87, of Quick went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, January 27, 2016. She was born August 3rd, 1928 to the late Golden and Tina Ashby.

She was a wonderful and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Marie was a good business owner and hard worker. She and her husband managed their grocery store for many years. She also enjoyed fishing, bowling and quilting.

In addition to her parents Marie is preceded in death by her sister Jewel Conley.

She is survived by her loving husband of 70 years Keith Wheatley; daughters Alice Miller, Linda (Paul) Kinder; brothers Jack Ashby; grandchildren, Beverly, Kimberly, Sonda, Kelly, Kenny II; great grandchildren Kane and Melody, Shane, Caleb, Wyatt, Kenny III; great great grandchildren Kate and Jayme.

Service will be 2:00pm Saturday, January 30 at Hafer Funeral Home Myers Chapel. Burial will follow in Elk Hills Memorial Park, Big Chimney. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
