Mirlene M. Tignor
Mirlene M. Tignor 82, of Elkview passed away peacefully Sunday, September 6, 2015 at the residence of her daughter, surrounded by her family.
She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a member of Leatherwood Primitive Advent Christian Church. She always had a smile and a loving word for everyone. Psalm 23.
She is preceded in death by her parents John and Althea Burgess; her husband George "Joe" Tignor.
She is survived by sons, Delane (Mary) Tignor and Kenneth Tignor; daughter Connie (David) Price; sister Bessie Reed; grandchildren Beth Dawson, Kevin (Shelly) Tignor and Andrew Tignor and a great grandchild Blake Tignor.
The family wishes to thank Hospice Care nurses Holly, Cori, Tiffany, Jenny and Kim for their compassion and care.
Services will be 1:00 PM Friday, September 11, 2015 at Hafer Funeral Home Myers Chapel with Rev. Leroy Conner and Rev. Keith Monday officiating. Burial will follow in Elk Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum.
Visitation will be 6-8 PM Thursday, September 10, 2015 at Hafer Funeral Home.
