Audry Erma Dodd
Audry Erma Dodd 86, of Auburndale, Florida, also from Elkview, WV, passed away August 20, 2014 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center of cardiac arrest.
She served the Lord for 69 years and was a member of Leatherwood Primitive Advent Christian Church. She loved going to yard sales, flea markets, and selling her wares at International Market World in Auburndale. She was the matriarch of our family and will be missed more than words.
Preceding her in death were her parents, James and Beulah Painter, brothers Herb, Owen, Earl, Damon and Okey.
Audry is survived by her loving husband of 69 years, Daris Dodd; son Tom Dodd and his wife Linda of Senecaville, Ohio; daughters Kathy Morrison and husband Glenn of Ft. Pierce, Florida; Patsy Stafford and husband Jim of Elkview; son-in-law Stephen Moles of Auburndale; sister Lottie Jones, who lives with Audry and Lawrence Painter of Kentucky; grandchildren TD, Robert and Christopher Dodd; Heather Smith; Stephen Moles, Cindy Crumley, Jimmy Stafford and Maria Butterworth; 16 great grandchildren. She was also Aunt Audry to many nieces and nephews whom she loved. Special thanks to Stephen Moles who tenderly cared for her daily.
Services will be 12:00 pm Saturday, August 30, 2014 at the Leatherwood Primitive Advent Christian Church with Pastor Danny Beckner and Pastor Roger Hammonds officiating. Burial will follow in Dodd Cemetery, Elkview.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.
